Sr Mechanical Design Engineer -Project Lead
- Experience in 3D modeling software SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of Parametric Modelling, constraints, and best practices in 3D Design Software.
- Ability to generate concepts, design & detail engineering, creating manufacturing and fabrication drawings as per customer requirements.
- Experience & exposure in Sheetmetal thickness, design considerations and material selection
- Minimum of 4 Years’ experience in Product Design from a manufacturing Industry.
- Design of Plastics, sheet metal, machined, fabricated components (including enclosures, shafts, frames, Castings and structures) and component selection of mechanical components (Design Selections and Suggestions).
- Good understanding of various mechanical processes and methods. (Casting, Metal Forming, Fabrication, Metal Joining)
- Knowledge of EPDM check in/outs, Data Cards and ERP exposure is required.
- Experience and Knowledge in Product Development Life Cycle (Mechanical Engineering)
- Application of GD&T as per ASME Y 14.5, Tolerance Stack up Analysis & Methods.
- Should be able to lead a team of 2 to 4 Design Engineers and take up Design Review Meetings with Customers directly.
- Ability to work in fast pace environment.
