SCOPE
- Investigate requested changes from different sources customer, quality & manufacturing.
- Process custom orders (Engineer To Order) and validate the designs accordingly.
- Create design package- manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM's)
- Release the Engineering changes to manufacturing through PLM & ERP.
APPROACH
- Deployed a remote team to address change management and ETO's.
- Developed Macros and systems/processes to expedite the changes.
- Swiftly handled the engineering design release process.
- Validated ETO designs for structural strength using Ansys.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Processed more than 75-92 changes and 15 ETO's per week.
- Increased order processing throughput by more than 200%.
- Reduced engineering changes investigation to implementation time from days to few hours.
